Each contestant is given 3 minutes to speak about their state, the PRCA and rodeo / the western lifestyle.  These speeches can tell you more about a state then some encyclopedia's can... due to the fact that most of the contestants have been building their speeches for years in local and state pageants.  They are exciting and heartfelt.

Speech competition is split into three sessions, each session held on a different day.
