Dining
at the 4 Queens Hotel Casino |
| The venerable Four Queens Hotel & Casino is located in the heart of downtown's famed Glitter Gulch
On the corner of the brightest spot in the world, (202 Fremont Street)
ground broke on November 16, 1964, for one of the most famous Glitter Gulch landmarks -- the Four Queens Hotel/Casino. The hotel was dedicated to owner/builder Ben Goffstein's four daughters, Faith, Hope, Benita and Michele. It began as a pint-size property with 120 rooms and a casino of 20,000 square feet. Under creative leadership it has grown to be a jewel in today's downtown Las Vegas. However, during the course of the
casino's growth and modernization, it never lost that "Old Vegas" ambiance. Tiny white lights, mirrors and chandeliers decorate the small but uncluttered lobby.
The gourmet restaurant, Hugo's Cellar, has won recognition for five years as "the best gourmet room" in Las Vegas. Hugo's wine list holds an Award of Excellence from The Wine Spectator. If you like big slots, you'll love the Four Queens. They have the
biggest slot machine in the world. It's over nine feet tall and almost twenty feet wide!
That's a big slot machine. Apparently bigger is better at the Four Queens because they also have the largest blackjack table in the world, seating 12 people. |
