Video II will be offering DVD videos in addition to regular VHS videotape Tom House of Video II said. “We sold DVD’s at Miss Rodeo Texas 2003 pageant and the reception was great.” he continued. Prices will be the same for both media he also confirmed. DVD’s
are the wave of the future. Most
movies are now sold in this format with VHS becoming less popular and
less available. “The
nice thing about DVD is the fact you can go to virtually any part of the
video and see what you want to without have to rewind and fast forward,”
House noted. Video
II produces their DVD videos so the customer can access almost any part
they want too. Each DVD has
a menu at the start of each DVD that lists what can be accessed. Like if a customer wants to see a particular speech it will
be on the menu and they can go right to it.
Some events will just be the entire event and the viewer will
have to go to the event and then fast forward the event on the DVD to
get to the particular individual. But
it goes a lot faster. DVD
players are very reasonably priced these days and some sell for a low as
$50. The
Top Ten and the Top Ten Plus One DVD will be a four part series and sell
for $145.00 plus a shipping charge. The Top Ten and Plus One videotape
series will be a three part series and sell for the same amount. Purchasers
of the sets can save $10 by preordering their tapes prior to the pageant
or if they are attending the pageant the same savings will be available
during pageant week. The
$145.00 price will take effect after the pageant. Also
available will be the ALL VIDEO SETS, which will consist of all the
contestants and the events at the pageant.
This will be an 8 tape video series and most likely consist of 9
DVD’s. This set sells for
$310.00 in either format after the pageant.
If ordered prior to the pageant or during the pageant these sets
are $285.00. This is a
$25.00 savings. There is a
shipping charge of $7.50 for each set. Sets may be ordered through www.rodeopageants.com online store where your credit card information is fully protected through our secure servers, or you may print out a Video/DVD order form through Video II’s web site at http://home.att.net/~thousevid/Index.htm, and either fax or mail your order into Video II.
