Darci Robertson, representing the Salinas Rodeo, was crowned to reign as the 2003 Miss Rodeo California in front of a sold out Coronation Dinner in the Ballroom of the Sheraton Suites Fairplex Resort. Miss Robertson was chosen from an outstanding field of 15 contestants who competed during the four day of the annual Pageant.

Miss Robertson lives in Soquel, California and is a graduate of Monte Vista Christian High School and has attended Cabrillo College and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo majoring in Biochemistry with AA degrees in Anatomy and Physiology.  She has been accepted at the Stanford School of Medicine and is pursueing a PHD in Anesthesiology with subsequent studies in law school specializing in malpractice suits and scientific/intellectual patents.

Her interest include singing opera, musical theater, skiing, photography, snowmobiles, restoring classic cars, cowboy poetry, guitar, tap & hip-hop dancing, kick boxing, piano, camping and hiking. In her spare time she participates in English, Hunter-jumpers, Western, Reining, Halter, Trail, Gymkhana, Barrel Racing, Cutting and many other horse related activities.

Miss Robertson, as this year's winner, received many wonderful awards including: The use of a Circle J Trailer from Golden West Trailer Sales, the use of a Toyota Tundra pickup truck from Toyota Motors, USA, a Skyline trophy buckle, presented by the Pageant's "Golden State Sponsor", San Dimas Community Hosiptal, a $1,000 scholarship presented by Gayton Painting and New Spirit Naturals, a Circle Y saddle along with many other wonderful gifts.
