Charles McCants started his community involvement shortly after graduating High School, by becoming involved with the San Dimas Chamber of Commerce, San Dimas Sheriff's Boosters, and the local civic organization; "The Rustlers". Over the next 13 years Charles went on to become actively involved in the community of San Dimas and various Rodeo Pageants. A few of his accomplishments include; President of the San Dimas Jaycees, The California Jaycees Order of the Tigers, Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, Member of the Rustlers and the Civitans, and has worked extensively with the San Dimas Sheriff's Baker to Vegas Relay Team as their Team Photographer. Charles has received local awards as Chamber Ambassador of the Year, San Dimas Jaycee of the Year (1995 & 1996), San Dimas Jaycees Individual Development Award 1995, San Dimas Jaycees Speak-Up Award 1996, California Jaycees First Timer Foot Loose Award and Certificate of Appreciation from the City of San Dimas and Mayor, Curt Morris. Charles has received Certificates and Honors from the California State Assembly, United States Congress, and San Dimas Chamber of Commerce. His wall is filled with numerous other local awards. San Dimas is a city with a Western Theme. Charles has partaken in the refurbishing of the City Welcome Wagon, San Dimas Western Days Parade and the San Dimas Rodeo. Charles is a licensed Ham Radio Operator and several years ago too up Amateur Photography. With his photography, he took a strong interest in working with the various Rodeo Pageants; to include Miss Rodeo California, Miss Rodeo San Dimas, and Miss Rodeo Temecula. He has taken photos at the Rodeo California Salinas. His goals are to become more actively involved in photography at the upcoming various western states' rodeos. Charles McCants is an avid bicycle enthusiast. On any given day you will find him bicycling throughout the City of San Dimas. He is actively involved in computer networking and Ham Radio communications. In his 32 years, he has accomplished more goals than most persons dream of accomplishing He lives with his parents, Jim and Linda McCants in San Dimas. He is semi-retired and works part time at The Pizza Place in San Dimas. Charles devotes his life to his community and his love for working with the various Rodeos and Rodeo Pageants. His philosophy in life is "Service to Humanity is the Best Work of Life" He enjoys watching the California Angels Baseball Team and traveling to various drag race events. His favorite color is red, and his favorite food is Steak and mashed potatoes.
