 Sara Katherine Carr
Miss Rodeo Tehachapi

After graduating from Highland High School, Sara attended Antelope Valley College where she obtained an AA degree in Letters, Arts and Science with a major in Deaf Study. She has the goal of owning a Boarding and Training business after tutoring her higher education.

Sara has participated in California Gymkhana Association penning events and various local parades and rodeos throughout Southern California. She holds several Queen titles and was Antelope Valley Desert Riders Grand Champion 1994. Being a role model is her ambition, so as to encourage young people to share the western way of life.

 

Mianna Kelly
Miss Rodeo Bakersfield

After attending high school at Yosemite in Oakhurst, Mianna has gone on to Cal State Fresno where she is majoring in Agricultural Communications. She plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in business with hopes of one day having her own business involved with rodeos and the western industries.

Recently she has become active in team roping, but still enjoys roping for branding. She helped organize the Exceptional Kids Rodeo in Coursegold and volunteers for Buddy Systems, a therapeutic riding program. Her hobbies include photography, traveling, designing western fashions and jewelry and raising working cow dogs.


Kimberly Rose Downs
Miss Rodeo Lakeside

Kimberly graduated from Patrick Henry High School in San Diego and has since attended UC Davis and UC San Diego. She holds a BS degree in Ecology, Behavior and Evolution and a Minor in Teacher Education. She is pursuing a Master of Education and Credentialing and plans to become a Biologist working with environmental issues.

She holds three Queen titles and has been active training horses for the San Diego Police Department, giving horsemanship lessons to youths and participating in many horse shows, both Western and English Pleasure. Kimberly enjoys traveling, art, film criticism, western apparel modeling and teaching. She is also active in Girl Scouting.

 

 Breanna Lea Marino
Miss Rodeo Salinas

After completing high school in Lodi, Breanna has enrolled in Cosumnes River College. She is working toward a degree in Agricultural Marketing. She hopes to become a successful business women in the field of agriculture while competing as a barrel racer on a professional basis.

Breanna holds two Queen titles and has won a number of awards and ribbons in Western Pleasure and English Schooling shows. She enjoys competition dancing, ice skating, traveling, jet skiing, camping, spending money and time with friends and family.
