 Sarah Jean McDonell
Miss Rodeo Placerville

Sarah attended Laguna Creek High School and then moved on to Cosumnes River College where she is majoring in Early Childhood Education as she pursues a degree in Liberal Arts Studies emphasizing special needs children. She is interested in R & D leading to new markets for livestock and their by-products while she continues to mentor children

Sarah has four Queen titles and has won several contests in horsemanship and speech. She loves traveling to rodeos, trail riding, roping, sorting and ranch related work. Her spare time includes snowboarding, water sports, reading and watching old episodes of Saturday Night Live while dreaming of becoming the first female "James Bond, Secret Agent."

 

Amanda L. Reed
Miss Rodeo Jurupa

From Jurupa Valley High School, Amanda went on to La Sierra University and then Riverside Community College. She holds her Associate of Science Degree in Nursing and intends to continue at UCLA toward a Nurse Practitioners license in Pediatrics. She intends to join the WPRA and compete in barrel racing on the California Circuit.

Amanda holds three Queen titles and has received various awards from the California Gymlzhana Association, Jr. Rodeo Association and the National Barrel Horse Association. Her special interests include dancing (ballet and jazz), working with children's theater, musicals, kickboxing, mentoring and mission trips.


Brittany Renee Nuckols
Miss Rodeo Norco

Brittany went from Sultana High School to Cal State San Bernardino for her major in Kinesiology with pre-physical therapy concentration. She intends to complete grad school and establish her own physical therapy practice in Southern California.

She holds four Queen titles and has garnered many horsemanship awards over the years. She is a member of the Hesperia Wrangler's Drill Team, barrel races in the WPRA, trains horses and has a special interest in Paint Horses. Her free time is spent on camping, snow boarding, hiking, riding quads and learning how to water-ski.

 

 Elizabeth Seward
Miss Rodeo Poway

Upon graduation from Chaparral High School, Elizabeth attended Mr. San Jacinto College and then Mt. San Antonio College. She is following a Veterinary Technicians program along with a major in Visual Communication. Her goals include the use of equine chiropractics and becoming a buyer in the western wear industry.

Elizabeth holds several Queen titles and has won numerous ribbons in local gymkhanas and shows. She is a member of the Saddle Sore Riders and enjoys riding, gymkhana, reining, sorting and working with challenged children in Exceptional Rodeos. Her spare time is used for reading, teaching, soccer and designing clothing.
