This year's
Modeling & California Speech Contest was held Thursday, September
30th, at the Plummer Community Building in San Dimas.
The competition
consisted of two parts, the first, consisting of each contestant
modeling their wardrobe while Miss Rodeo America Darci Robertson and
Miss Rodeo California Candice Carper read the prepared description.
The second part
consisted of a speech each contestant presented that involved
California history.
Escorting each contestant on and off the stage,
were two Marines, who themselves recently arrived from duty from from
Iraq. |
